Your questions, answered.

  • Do you charge extra for direct bookings?

    No. Unlike many other property management companies, direct bookings do not carry an extra charge. With BookedUK, you earn what you earn.

  • Is the management commission a percentage of the gross income or the percentage of the profit after costs?

    The commission is applicable on turnover (what the guest pays). Any other costs will be deducted afterwards and the remaining profit will be transferred to the landlord’s account in the following month, alongside a breakdown of the turnover and relevant costs.

  • Does the management commission include cleaning, laundry and other similar costs?

    No. All figures exclude 3rd party agency commissions including cleaning, laundry, etc. We can help you source such agencies for a fee. 

  • Does BookedUK impose a minimum night stay?

    Our target is to encourage longer stays and we manage minimum night requirements to support this. Please get in touch for more information.

  • What amount do you hold as a security deposit in case of any damages?

    For a security desposit, we typically hold between £200 and £300 depending on the property. However, if you have a particular hold charge in mind, do get in touch and we will see what we can do. 

  • Do you provide any additional services?

    We charge a one-time onboarding fee of £199 which covers the initial set up of the property, property visits, visiting agents and registering the property on various portals (detailed below). 


    Additional services can also be provided for a fee including property photography, electrical certificates and gas certificates. Please get in touch for more information. 

  • What portals do you register the properties on?

    At BookedUK, we are proud to be able to register properties on over 30 different portals including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and VRBO.
